ECB-V-004

This rim is from a small, delicate, thin-walled unrestricted bowl. The interior and lip are both plain. On the exterior the decoration, executed with very fine, delicate stamps, begins with zone marker RZ4D-4R-4, followed by motif GS366, vertical stamped lozenges, bounded on the bottom with zone marker RZ4D-4R-2. There is just a trace of a motif below this zone marker. This thin-walled, delicate unrestricted bowl is quite similar to ECB-V-010, although clearly a separate vessel; both bowls are likely to have been made by the same potter.
