This large, rather low-fired rim most likely comes from a flat bottom dish based on the rim profile. The interior has a row of stamped circles (motif A417) above with motif A1, stamped semicircles below a stamped line, below. The lip with decorated with motif PK243 involving triangular cutouts interspersed with stamped triangular lines. On the exterior, the decoration begins with motif A1, followed by zone marker RZ4D-3R-2. The main motif is PK524, a variant of the “flaring nose” design. The rather crudely executed stamping, along with the low firing of the vessel suggests it was made by someone without a high degree of technical skill.
