This fairly thick-walled, everted rim from a flat bottom dish has been rather heavily eroded, somewhat obscuring the decoration. The lip has traces of triangular cutouts, and may also have had some stamping but this cannot be discerned due to erosion of the sherd surface. On the exterior, the decoration begins with motif M2-1-1, below which is zone marker RZ4D-3R-2. The main motif is difficult to make out clearly due to the erosion of the surface, but involves large square spaces with X’s across them, in a fairly open pattern (coded as motif TFG3458).
