This large, thin-walled and well-fired carinated jar exhibits considerable technical skill in its manufacture as well as attention to precision and symmetry in the execution of the incised designs. The upper part of the rim is missing but a substantial portion of the design (confined to the rim above the carination) remains. The uppermost motif (TFG1556) is fragmentary, with curvilinear elements. Below this is motif PK355, a simple design of cross-hashed slanting lines bounded top and bottom by horizontal lines. Below this and extending down to the carination is motif PK297, a series of alternating triangular spaces filled in with slanting lines. Finally, the edge of the carination has very small notches (motif M77-1-3), possibly made by fingernail impressing.
