This is the rim and neck of a large jar, with strongly everted rim, that most likely was carinated, although the presence of a carination cannot be confirmed definitively. The inner part of the strongly everted rim is roughly decorated with simple incised lines (recorded as motif TFG1872). On the exterior, there is a gap of about 2.8 cm below the lip, and then the incised decoration begins with a horizontal line, below which are several very roughly executed concentric circles; the design is only fragmentary (motif TFG1628). The thin-walled, well-fired vessel displays technical sophistication in manufacture, but little effort to decorate the exterior with any skill or precision.
