Comments

The curvature of this vessel profile suggests that it was from a carinated, unrestricted bowl. The interior is well burnished but undecorated. The inner edge of the lip has a row of stamped circles (motif A417), and the outer part of the lip is decorated with motif PK57, alternating triangular cutouts with intervening stamped lines. On the exterior, the decoration begins with motif M2-1-1, below which is zone marker RZ4D-5R-2. The main motif is PK54, an interlocking geometric pattern.
