This large, well-fired unrestricted bowl might have originally been supported on a pedestal base. The interior lacks any decoration, while the lip is decorated with motif SC1265 (stamped triangles) and zone marker RZ4D-3-1. On the exterior, the decoration begins with motif M2-1-1, followed by zone marker RZ4D-3R-2, and then the main motif, PK1983, a variant of the “dumbbell” design family. The dentate stamping is quite coarse and open, and does not evidence a high degree of precision or skill in its application.
