These sherds are from the neck and rim of a jar (probably originally carinated) with an out-turned lip; the neck diameter was approximately 20 cm. The lip is mostly damaged but there is a trace of motif A417 along the edge. On the exterior the decoration begins with zone marker RZ4D-4R-2. Before this is an exquisitely executed anthropomorphic face design (motif PK214). The shield-shaped face, outlined with the zone marker technique, has stamped oval eyes and an elongated nose. Above the eyes and nose and set within a domed semicircle is the indication of what may be a headdress of feathers. This vessel exhibits a high degree of artistic skill and sophistication.
