Middle-Old Adult

The extended middle-old adult burial 1-24 in zone 113 was partially disturbed. The area also includes the secondary child burial 1-44 in zone 235 and vessel 012.

Secondary child burial 1-18 in zone 103 rests on the lap of extended middle-old adult female 1-19a in zone 100. The burial also includes the secondary interment of young-middle adult 1-19b, as well as vessels 008, 009, and 010.

Burial 1-26, in zone 87a, is a secondary interment of a middle-old adult male.

Burial 1-4 is a secondary interment in zone 38 accompanied by vessel 042. Burial 1-10 is in zones 38a and 38b. This extended adult female is accompanied by pomacea and vessel 043. Burial 1-11 in zones 38 and 38c is a flexed adult female. Burial 1-14 in zone 83 is an extended child, accompanied by vessel 054, two beads, a bivalve shell and an effigy tinkler.

The profile drawing is of a multiple burial in operation 1, zone 18. Burials 1-2a through 1-2i are represented, in addition to "root" burial 1-45 in zone 236. (Plan views of B1-45 exist in a separate series.) The burials contain shell tinklers, carved bone, and eight vessels.

This profile drawing represents a seated burial and other secondary interments from Operation 1, zone 15. Burials 1-1a through 1-1g, and vessels 021,022, and 023 are represented.
