Comments

A cylinder form with slightly incurved-outcurved walls at both the base and top. No rim sherds were found. The flat base is 12 cm in diameter and the thickness of the wall is 0.5 cm. The slip is eroded and blackened. This vessel is so fragmentary, accurate dimensions are not possible. The height of the largest sherd is 17.5 cm.

A spouted jar with a vertical neck, exteriorly thickened rim, and rounded lip. The height of the neck measures 1.8 cm, and the spout is 4.9 cm tall with an aperture of 1.3 cm. Opposite the spout is a poorly preserved applique. The paste and color characteristics of the vessel place it within the Sierra Red type.

Bowl with flaring sides, an incurved base, horizontally everted rim, and rounded lip. The rim flares 7 cm from the base and has a beveled aspect. The red coloration of the vessel places it within the Sierra Red type, and there is fire clouding on the surface. The wall thickness is 1 cm. The vessel has a base diameter of 21.5 cm. It was found inverted over the skull of the individual.

Only partially complete, this bowl has outcurving sides, an everted rim, and a direct rounded lip. It has been slipped on the exterior and interior, and fire clouding is present. Wall thickness is 1 cm and the base diameter is 20 cm. It was found over the chest of the individual.
