Comments
This Sierra Red dish is slipped on the exterior and interior. The red (10R 4/8) slip is partially eroded. A streaky cross was painted on the exterior of the base. Walls are outcurved and rim is everted with a rounded lip. Base is slightly incurved and is 12 cm in diameter. The dish was found near the right humerus of an adult male.

Extended adult males 1-25 (zones 99 and 115) and 1-29 (zone 115a) were placed in the same pit, though in different interment episodes. They are accompanied by vessels 013 and 014, which display the earliest recovered examples of the cross motif.
