This bowl with incurved sides features an outflared neck, a horizontal everted rim, and a rounded lip. The base of the vessel is flat with a diameter of 9.5 cm. The base has a stroke of slip across it (not a cross). Two monkey faces were applied to the sides of the vessel. Each measures 2.5 cm across. The eyes and mouth were formed with impressed reeds. The height of the neck is 4 cm.

This is the upper-middle planview of burial 1-2 in zone 18. It depicts vessels 033, 034, and 036, which were associated with individual 1-2e.
The profile drawing is of a multiple burial in operation 1, zone 18. Burials 1-2a through 1-2i are represented, in addition to "root" burial 1-45 in zone 236. (Plan views of B1-45 exist in a separate series.) The burials contain shell tinklers, carved bone, and eight vessels.
